Jesus Christ Is Omnipotent, Omniscient And Omnipresent

Shining Glory Of Jesus

Jesus Christ is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. “Your throne, O God, will continue forever and ever…O Lord, in the beginning you made the earth and your hands made the sky…But You never change and Your life will never end.” (Hebrews 1:8-12). “Jesus said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:58). “I and My Father are one.” (John 10:31). “I am the resurrection and the life.” (John 11:25).

The Bible speaks about God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Christians refer to them as the “Trinity.” There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4-5), but He is embodied in three Persons. Jesus called God “the Father” and taught us to call Him our “Father in Heaven” (Matthew 6:9). Jesus lived in communion with his heavenly Father, always doing his will and recognizing him as truly and eternally God.

Before his ascension, Jesus said he was going to his Father. Jesus was God in the flesh. He came to reveal God’s nature by showing us how to live. He was loving, kind, and filled with God’s wisdom. He revealed how the power of God was available to answer prayer and solve problems.

Jesus became the Son of God when He voluntarily came into the world in human form (Philippians 2:5-11). Jesus was divinely conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit by Virgin Mary. The divine incarnation of Jesus was necessary for our eternal redemption. “But Christ died for us while we were still sinners. In that way God showed us that He loves us very much” (Romans 5:8). “We have been made right with God by Christ’s blood (death). So through Christ we will surely be saved from God’s anger” (Romans 5:9).

Jesus died as a man, but God raised Him from the dead, to prove that He was the Son of God. When Jesus was baptized, “the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased” (Luke 3:22). After Jesus died and was raised from the dead, He sent the Holy Spirit to be present in the lives of people who believed in Him. The Holy Spirit guides us, leads us, empowers us, and is God’s presence with us in our daily lives.

Jesus Christ rose up on the third day after His redemptive death on the cross of Calvary (Matthew 28:1-8; Mark 16:1-14; Luke 24:1-12; John 20:1-10). Later, Jesus Christ went back to Heaven after His glorious resurrection (Mark 16:19-20; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-11). Jesus Christ is the only way to make Heaven and escape from going to hell when you die (John 14:6). Listen to what Jesus Christ is saying to you now: “Do not be afraid! I am the First and the Last. I am the One who lives. I was dead, but look: I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and hell” (Revelation 1:17-18).

When you believe in Jesus Christ totally and that He was punished for your sins in your place; when you believe that God raised Him from the dead; when you accept Jesus as your Savior and make Him the Lord of your life; and when you choose to walk in obedience to God and His Word, then you receive the right to spend a glorious eternity in heaven with Him! You exchange your will for His. You exchange eternal condemnation in hell without Him for eternity in heaven with Him.
